Combining control of most key functions with responsive system metering, engineers can take control of any PRO-series or XL8 console using an iPad. Support for multiple simultaneous iPads allows FOH and monitor engineers to work collaboratively from any location in the venue. Mixtender 2’s new features include full-screen EQ editing which allows accurate tweaks of individual channel signals. The parts that have been designed are great! Now for the bad news. Currently, there isn't any preamp control on any of the channels! I'd much rather have this when I walk up to a mic on stage and want to gain-stage it, rather than a page dedicated to naming and color of channels. There also aren't any access to the gates and comps on the channels. These are necessary functions that Behringer has for it's lower priced X32, but not this. The last update needed is to add a way to edit the effects. ![]()
